Love, and do what you like..

Most of my friends posts a good review about this restaurant so we gave it a try. So I treat my family out to celebrate my birthday. The ambiance is indeed nice and cozy.The interior feels laid-back, and homey.The staff were very accommodating they were ready to assist even if they were obviously busy with other customers.

We ordered Buffalo wings and Nachos for our appetizers. And woah the buffalo wings was good! I don’t like spicy foods but this one has just the right spice the tender chicken wings flavored with their very special barbecue sauce that comes with its special tartar sauce that is so good. The nachos was yummy too.

We ordered two pizzas the House Specialty pizza and The Meat Lover.. (I forgot the actual names of the but i love the one with veggies I don’t know why but I did’nt like the meat pizza that much)

I think i ordered the wrong flavor I was suppose to order The House Pizza Special which has Pepperoni, ham, bacon, mushroom, onion, bell pepper, pineapple.

Cafe Lidia have other pizzas, pasta dishes, salads, sandwiches, rice meals and their cakes and coffee has a lot a of good reviews as well. We will definitely try them when I come back, and we will definitely be coming back…By the way, lthe restrooms were very clean too, therefore adding to the wonderful dining experience. Although the table we choose has some small insects i dunno if its mosquitos or something else cos my mom and my niece got a lot of insect bites maybe because of the small garden near the restroom. 

Anyways Cafe Lidia is a must try! It’s very affordable for the taste and the servings. I myself would definitely come back!

Cafe Lidia is located at 64 Calderon St., Calumpang, Marikina. Pasig-Marikina jeepneys that are on the way to Marikina would pass by the restaurant. It’s open from 10:30 am to 11 pm from Mondays to Sundays and from 3 pm to 11 pm on Sundays. You can reserve tables and inquire through 6477606.

Happy Lemon Appreciation Post..

Since we only have a week to enjoy dayshift again I started my Happy lemon one week challenge. I’ll try different flavors everyday until I find my favorite flavor (Im such a picky person!).The first flavor i tried was Oreo Cookies and Cream Coffee and woah it taste so damn good. Its too sweet for some people but Im lovin’ it specially the crushed cookies. I’m a sucker for desserts and  I’m always craving for coffee, tea or any sweet beverages. I guess I have a sweet tooth but it makes me wonder  why I don’t gain weight geez.. Its really frickin hard for me, I do eat a lot but still I couldn’t achieve my desired weight. Im blaming it to my crazy metabolism. Anywho I took some photos of the prices and the flavors that they’ve got so that I could choose the next flavor that I would try…. ^__^

         Orea Cookies & Cream Coffee is so addictive.. I really love the taste of coffee with a twist!

Tried Roasted Milk tea with Black Pearl Sago hmm well I didn’t like it that much since I’m not a milk tea fanatic..

Next on my list I want to try Cripsy Cocoa matcha with brown sugar and blueberry with nata de coco…

                                         I’m not a citrus fan so but their lemon series looks delicious..

                      I want to try the yakult green tea and Lemon Yakult I wonder what it taste like? 

COCOA with ROCK SALT and CHEESE was oh so yummy!! Its a must try everyone’s been raving about this flavor.. BTW If they don’t give you a straw you should drink it directly from the cup and you’re not supposed to mix it so that you can taste the rock salt in the cheese froth.  

I failed doing my one week challenge screw you falcon.. It’s raining so hard for 2 days and I cant go out our office during my lunch break grr… 

We had our lunch at Crisostomo. I love the ambiance and the food as well.. Special thanks to Tita Ann for the free lunch.. ^_^

The staffs there were named after the book Noli Me Tangere and Sisa was even there! Inside was a very stylish interior of the restaurant and I love the comfort room (because of the mirror lol). We ordered binagooan rice, sinagang na baboy, bangus belly and crispy hmm pata i forgot :P  In a scale of 1-10, I give it a score of 9. The food was great I love everything we ordered. I will certainly come back and try some of their best sellers.
